The City of Wildwood is a seashore resort

community with a year round population of

4,500 people that explodes during the summer

months to 50,000 people and often more. We have one

of the largest and safest beaches on the eastern coast

of the United States that is world famous. Our boardwalk

boasts amusements and rides that rival those

of Disney World or Six Flags.

The Wildwood Police Department consists

of 45 highly trained full time Police Officers.

During the summer months approximately 45

state certified Class II part time officers are added.

We are one of the busiest police departments in the

State of New Jersey. We hope that by having this site,

that you, the public, will be able to gain an
