Special Weapons and Tactics Team
The Wildwood Police Department S.W.A.T. Team
is a highly motivated, highly trained group of
individuals. The S.W.A.T. Team is used to make
entry to buildings when Search Warrants are being
executed. They are also deployed for dangerous situations
in which a strategic deployment of highly trained officers
is necessary to protect the safety of the public, police, and
the perpetrators involved in a given situation.
